FinTea Data Deletion Instructions

FinTea allows members to request deletion of their personal data and connected marketing and/or sales platform data (such as Meta Ads and Instagram connection data).

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your data, please email us at:

support@fintea.app

Use the subject line:
“Data Deletion Request”

In your email, include:

  • The email address used for your FinTea account

  • The marketing or sales platform you connected (Meta Ads, Instagram, Google Ads, Etsy, Shopify, etc.)

  • (Optional) Your FinTea account/brand name

What we delete

Once your request is verified, we will delete:

  • Your FinTea account profile information (if requested)

  • Stored marketing connection tokens (ex: Meta/Google OAuth tokens)

  • Stored marketing account identifiers (ex: ad account ID, Instagram business ID)

  • Stored reports/insights associated with your account (if applicable)

What we may retain

We may retain certain records only when required for:

  • legal compliance

  • security/audit logging

  • fraud prevention

Deletion timeline

We process deletion requests within 7 business days.

In-App “Deletion”

You can disconnect Meta Ads, Instagram, etc. at any time from your FinTea Marketing Channels dashboard. Same with your FinTea Sales Channels. Disconnecting disables the integration in FinTea and prevents further data syncing. Stored access tokens are retained only as needed for reconnection and will expire automatically based on each platform’s token expiration policies.
